Thank you! The congo tetra are awesome filler, and the rummies are always fun to watch school. I added the purple passion danios to the tank about a month ago and have noticed all of the fish are a bit more active because of their constant movement at the top.

Just throwing this out there if you like central/south American, 4-5 severums (heros) in a 150 would be cool as well. I have 4 in a 120 with rummy nose tetra and Congo tetra. Especially the red spot gold's, they are just beautiful. Then again, I am extremely biased here.

assuming you leave the bottom and top acrylic attached for structure, then you probably could assuming you are not heating the wood. but if you remove the top and bottom acrylic, and just have the curved panel. that panel will give a bit with weight and everything will be off.

SB Reef lights (16" freshwater) came in, and i mocked up the lights to be mounted next week. they are about 4" up from the glass here. once they are higher it will fill the space better. comparison to the finnex vivid+ that used to be on the top tank. Lighting Height and mounting

so i just got my sb reef lights in for my 120. mock setup about 4" from the top of the tank, and it looks good. it will be better once i mount it properly, but the 6-8" from the lid seems perfect.

I used silicon ii from ge once... RiP my fish. GE Silicon I is the one you need to use. Generally a white and blue bottle. Not the red.

Fish are living beings, all living things need rest at some point. Please don't run your lights 24/7, they need rest like anything else.
