Flowerhorns laid eggs, need sexing advice

I know I have a female. I'm unsure that the other fish (the larger one) is actually a male. I was hoping for someone to confirm / deny that for me.

Flowerhorns laid eggs, need sexing advice

I've 2 flowerhorns in a 50g tank (usually in 2 separate 50g), this morning I've come into a plate full of eggs and I'm wondering if the 2nd flowerhorn is actually a male. I've attached photos of the flowerhorn in question. Thanks in advance:)

    Flowerhorn prolapse?

Any idea what the white part is? Is that just fatty tissue?

Forgot to mention that I've added in epsom salt to the water for the past 2 or 3 days.

    Flowerhorn prolapse?

Does this look like a prolapse? I believe the fish has hexamita since he's had white string poo recently. He's stopped eating and has been lethargic recently, the last time he ate on his own was about 2 weeks ago. After a couple of days of him not eating I started feeding him through a tube...

    Plywood and Steel Aquarium

To be honest I wasnt overly worried about that since its going on a freshly poured concrete floor but it does make sense to incorporate a flatter bottom. About having less legs I was thinking that it would reduce the likely hood of any flexing. My main concern was any flexing or thermal...

    Plywood and Steel Aquarium

Hi all I'm playing with the idea of making a new tank. I've been looking at previous plywood buildings and they all are reinforced with just timber. Has anyone made one with a steel frame which the plywood 'tank' would sit inside? Where I'm from timber is quite expensive and usually low quality...

    Stand for tank

I'm just going to make a new stand for it. Knowing my luck I'd have a problem with the plywood. The stand itself was just made from box section with a wooden 'skirt' around it. It would have been more than strong enough to support it Thanks for all the input.:)

    Stand for tank

I just have a concern about a tank that I have ordered. It’s going to be arriving in the next couple of weeks. The dimensions are 60”x24”x24”. I have a stand with a platform of 59”x22”. Since there is a difference, I was going to put a sheet of plywood and a layer of polystyrene under the tank...

    Max acrylic tank length

I've seen acrylic blocks which are 50mm thick but I'm not sure they are cell cast. They weren't as cheap as I had hoped :(

    Max acrylic tank length

Okay thanks. Just didn't want to start planning and find out it was too big after investing in the project.

    Max acrylic tank length

What would be the maximum tank length you could safely go for if it was built from acrylic? I've seen 8ft or 96 inches thrown around but is there any reason for this or could I go bigger?
