    my auranti stop eating, stop moving and get cloudy eyes at 28degrees after about 6 months. if the snakehead comes from that region of india then it need colder temps, if its from malaysia indonesia and other tropical countires then its ok.

    i've always held the view snakeheads are built for stagnant swampy backwater rivers, so a sponge filter is probably 5 star accommodation for them
