theyre from assam which is north india, which had cold temps. check tonights bramaputra river temp and see

my auranti stop eating, stop moving and get cloudy eyes at 28degrees after about 6 months. if the snakehead comes from that region of india then it need colder temps, if its from malaysia indonesia and other tropical countires then its ok.
