Thought I would update this thread. Fish still has not shown any changes in coloration. To me he looks like a dimidiochromis hybrid, but I am not sure.

Its about 4 inches. I was noticing the bloat as well, need to cut back on feeding. I tend to overfeed.

I had success with paraguard treating colmunaris in my cichlids. But good to know about the Kanaplex.

Funny, I had a kenyi in with a group in my 30 gal before I upgraded to my 125 gal. The thing was a male and never saw any aggression. I kept waiting for the thing to get mean but it never happened.

Just found out that I lost my freckled angler , had him for about 6 months and then found him floating last night. Still trying to determine cause of death, might have gotten heater burn. I like anglers but I'm going switch the stock. Im going to set up another angler tank at some point...
