He will be fine. Keep the tank lights off and don't try to force feed him. Toss 5-6 pellets in every day, and walk away. Come back 15 - 20 min later, if he hasn't eaten them, fish'em out and try again the next day.

Nice looking SRD!

Couple updated pictures of these guys. I have had them for about 2 months now. So far I am pleased with their progress.

Sorry, picture didn't post for some reason. Here is a updated picture. Also proud to say my son won 1st place in the Freemarking category at the recent NorCal UFA Comp. He has taken care of him (feeding, water changes, grooming, ect.) the whole time.

It can take anywhere from a couple hours to several weeks for a Flowerhorn to adjust and settle in. I suggest to keep the lights off, set temp at 84-85, and do water changes. If he is already eating, he will come around soon enough.

I prefer Hikari Frozen Blood Worms but, freeze dried are not bad.
