I think so. I have an empty 150 and the only fish I want in it is a flowerhorn because its not suitable to be planted. I just have to find the right fish. Thanks for all the help.

He dead rip almost 5 years old

I’ve read the nicer the fish the faster they die. This was him a couple years ago. Looks pretty inbred if you ask me. But I don’t know what im talking about

Yea I added salt. I don’t have maracyn atm. I have api fungus cure, furan2, pima/mela. Should I use the furan? Maybe melafix just to calm him down and relieve some stress?

Normal tank is 150 with him and 2 tinfoil barbs. Water change 50% every week and a half-2. Had a wet dry filter. Quarantine is a 29 gal.

Took water from my tank with most recent water change and added loads of media.

All fine. Other fish in tank also doing fine.

I never said not to do it. I'm just saying if it were me I would invest in a fresh pack after 6 months of use.

You can but I've heard of problems while doing it. After 6 months I just think buying a fresh pack would be more effective
