Hello @kno4te, sorry I have not updated In a while, been a little busy. My knife is doing great! It's eating like a champ and has even slightly grown a bit. I'm sorry yours didn't do so well, if it helps any I've been feeding mine swai fillets and market shrimp. The PH is actually quite high at 8.2

I really like how it turned out!!! Looks great. The cichlids contrast well with that background color.

I've never heard of anyone else keeping them in a group before, they look really cool in a group. I hope you're able to breed them. I'll keep this thread updated on the congoensis.

Thanks for the compliment. It's doing great so far, no signs of aggression towards the bichirs and active movement. It's starting to darken in color as well. I threw in some raw fish and shrimp for it to eat, I'll try blackworms if I see it isn't eating. I found your current experiment on...

Thanks for the compliments. I added it to a growout with only some juvenile bichirs, I'll keep you guys updated. I'll get better photos once it settles in. @krichardson , just out of curiosity, what kind of growth rate did you experience with your afer? I heard that they tend to be slower...
