So does anyone know what’s going on with my Gar?

My alligator gars Face has been turning white-ish. I have been doing weekly water changes. Also it looks like he lost two teeth! Have you ever seen this ? I have had him for well over a year now. The problems started about a month ago. Thanks for any help you guys can offer!
