yesh i m sure, whenever i go near the fish tank the fish (mostly the SDs) swim around fast and get to the top surface expecting food to be there already lol

yes i felt sad too, but then the fish would never have experienced sight first so it would not be missin anything eh? and it most probably would not know its friends in the tank can see. besides even if it could see all it could see would be the tank and the outside room fer the rest of its life...

I got quite a lot of experience with bichirs and, my advice is to never keep anything that would fit into its mouth, its best with other kinds of monster fish like cichlids and gars. I wouldnt reccommend silver dollars as well although they are a peacful, one of mine had their fins nipped by 2...

Yes seemed so to me too. I didn’t have that specific salt type so I just used table salt… don’t if that would be any difference though. No worries much now though as the fish is cured, though fer future ones.

well, most certainly i have been lucky, i think.. before sleepin i added a tablespoon of salt thinkin it be better than nothin, and in the morning, its all cured, just as it was before.. lol. and yes though it did seem like air trapped inside bladder or somethin, it would try to swim downbut...

i dont think the fish would have a problem livin in the tank even if the substrate was not from their native range, as theyre most probably used to tank life.

yes, just rocks and sand and 3 dried leaves. I'll send some pictures of it here in a few hours.
