Not My Fish! I found this on Pinterest. Some sort of earth eater, just not sure what exact species.

Those monos are really nice! I’ve always liked monos, but salt and brackish tanks have always scared me away. Maybe one day I’ll take the plunge and try them out though.

It sort of looks like beard algae, but I’ve never even seen a brackish tank in person so I’m definitely no authority on them.

Are any species of Channa legal in the US? I am specifically interested in Channa bleheri. If not too bad I guess, as I’m not interested in acquiring illegal species. Thank you.

They are, and I thought about Congo’s, but I want something with just a bit more size. Not looking for dovi size lol but something in the 4” to 6” range that school well. I’m not opposed to keeping natives either. I’ve toyed with the idea of gold shiners also.
