I have a 6' with 2 3' lights. I have plants only on one side, is there a difference between having both lights on one side of the tank and one on each side?

I've been breeding JBJDs (Jet Black JD)for years.... They are most certainly a different species than all other color morph JD's. Here is one of mine. I'm taking orders for the next batch. Oh... and if anyone is wondering how I am so certain it's a different species, I used one of these:

NLS pellets, earth worms, blood worms, market shrimp, krill, peas, zucchini.

I would have gotten one with the UV built in but I bought them from smpage and I had a UV already, a 40w pond master. In the center of the micron drum instead of the UV i have the bio core and the other is running a mix of filtration.

Hope you don't miss them too much, not getting them back... ;) I love them; my water is brilliantly clear. My only complaint,which is my fault is that I built the stand with FX5s in mind so it's a little tight. I would recommend them to anyone.

This should solve most of your problems. Cut a piece of PVC about 2' then slide it over the hose. Reattach the vaccum and slide the pvc down. Turn on the water to create the siphon, once the hose is full turn the water off or very low. It will be enough to pickup waste but not sand. Usually...
