It's been a while.. Some pics of the current collection

The woma is great. He's tagged me twice, though - always hungry. Once he's out of the tub, he's pretty relaxed. Cool snakes. The bredli are really relaxed too, for being baby carpet pythons. Don't have my geckos anymore sadly. I had to move and they went to a friend of a friend. Want to get a...

Help To Bring Asian Aros Back To The US...

I still think they would at least be a few hundred dollars for even something like a green or banjar red. Who knows, I would love to see them legal again though - asian aros seem to grow slower, and reach an over all smaller size than SA aros from what I've seen.

Vermiponics - Fish, Plants, and Worms

Could make dual spray bars even, or one long one that runs the entire back length of the tank. Might lessen the force that the water comes out?

Vermiponics - Fish, Plants, and Worms

This is cool. I want to set up a 75G for Discus next year, and I am definitely considering this type of filtration. I think it would work awesome, as the discus like slow moving water, and this system isn't constantly pumping fast moving water in. And the fact that I could grow tomato's or...

No. That is to small. Have you done any research on your own? These are living animals that will depend on you to survive.

LOOKING TO GET A MONITER LIZARD!!!!

Monitors aren't really "affordable" Even small monitors eat a lot, you will need to build your own enclosure as most commercially built enclosures are not made for monitors. I would recommend joining varanus.nl and varanus.net and doing research. You need to figure out on your own which...

Plant only filtration (why not popular in the hobby???)

Yeah, I would like to try it out on a tank eventually. Put a bunch of duck weed, and other easy plants in the "bog" with lava rock.

Plant only filtration (why not popular in the hobby???)

Don't know if this has been mentioned here but.. You guys might want to check out bog filters. It's what a lot of pond people do, the owner of the local pond supply store told me about it and does it with his pond. It's basically pumping the water over a gravel bed filled with rooted and...
