Ok cool! Thanks for that input! I love Nic's, I have a gold version nic (no blue on the head) that is a solid 8-10 inches and growing. He has so much attitude but yet does not harm my other fish in the tank. What do you do with your spawned salvinis?

Hello MFK, long time no see Sadly I am coming back to announce my 5" female salvini jumped to her doom the other day... I have covers on the tank and the only spot to actually leap out is a small crack in one of the lids where I feed them. She was so pretty too and 5" only after 3/4 of a year...

I would say if you mixed male and females for both firemouths and convicts that there is going to be a lot of breeding aggression from both. I would pick hardy, easy to defend one self, type fish. You definatly have room to play seeing as it is 120g but be sure to figure out the breeding aggression.

Yah I would be interested in hearing those dimensions as that just looks like a 65 gallon tank.
