hi tarri, you seem more intelligent and nicer than the guy who doesn't like opinions. coming here as a new member witha chip on his shoulder was completely uncalled for
it wasn't really all that bad, i've seen worse lol. firemouths can't do much damage anyway. from what i've seen, they're all bark adn no bite. take care
if theres a question in this thread i must have missed it. even so i have advice. if you're going to keep the firemouth and other fish in the breeding convict's tank, you should add some sight barriers to calm things down. it will also create some boundries so it's less likely one fish will...
it's all good, i was just adding my personal experience to your current situation. i'm the same way and don't like an empty looking tank either. i have fifteen crappie atm, but i'm considering changing back to jaguars, or maybe festae and i'll do it the same way you are by starting with lots of...
flowerpower, the snook look fantastic. the wild color form snooks have always been high up on my list of favorite cichlids, it's good to see some people keeping and raising these fish. cant wait to see them grown up.

you're keeping a 32" arowana in a 250g tank? i'm not flaming, but i'm really curious of the tank measurements. i was thinking of getting a jardini for a while and gave up on it because i think my tank is too small. do you mind listing the L/W/H of your tank? thanks
