Ok, my 2 cents. Look up other threads about fiber-glassing the outside of the tank. VerbleKint statements have validity. A lot of "glass" has a wetting agent in it that is toxic to fish. This is one reason we didnt glass the inside of my tank. The other reason is strength. My tank is interior...

We wrestled with that too. By the time we finished with the tank the bridge and 3D background would have been too much. A deeper tank would have probably made that possible because you can set a sparse foreground to lead up to the background.
