We lost our 4 year old female leopard gecko today due to complications of pregnancy. Not sure exactly why, this wasnt her first season breeding, and not even her first clutch of this season. RIP nubby( got her with a partial tail)

Mechanical filtration Wont do anything for Nitrates. You need to do water changes. And make sure u clean out the skimmer cup often.

Grow slow?? im assuming you mean after the get to about 4"-5". Because mine went from 1.5"-2" to about 4.5" in lest the 2 months. but since hasn't gotten past 5" in the 6 weeks since.
