my oscar loves snails, zucchini, yellow squash, cucumber (all soaked in garlic oil), and anyone who cant fend for himself in the tank lol.. kidding. i have never used feeders-between pellets, spirulina, krill, and veggies he is quite happy with his glutony.

lol i love oscars-they are such drama queens. id recommend you just break his pellets in half for a week or so-then he wont be tempted to inhale it.

like someone else stated-you have africans mixed in there, and they have different water requirements- i see a Venustus in there-my male got to be around 9 inches (also known as a giraffe cichlid) hes the big yellowish one with the camo lol.. he will outgrow the tank and in the wild guess...

central and south american cichlids-there are some absolute stunners out there! i have done mbuna in the past-they just end up killing eachother off after a few years lol.. they tend to be more unforgiving in water parameters also...so i tend to favor SA/CA's

ive had success with silver dollars, chocolate cichlids, firemouths, vieja argentea, and severums so far. but this is also in a 180 gallon tank.
