Anyone else keep Rainbow Chiclids (Herotilapia multispinosa)?

I had a pair that eventually spawned about 9 times, I kept the first couple of spawns and let the tank mates take care of the rest. Still have 9 babies, they would go from that bright yellow to dark and to iridescent blue as they pleased.

    L200 green lantern fish

$40 isn't that high for a pleco, they can get much pricier. So don't start a addiction with them or your wallet will start hurting quick.

    Decent cheap canister filter

Definitely like the sunsuns, they run just fine and can come with a UV sterilizer.

    Loaded up on wild pikes

Matt I would love to, but finances say no. Maybe next year definitely need to go back, Lynn might go again though. I caught all the shad last year to use as catfish bait, so have it frozen flat so it's easy to use, and free, but will probably order some pellets to feed them soon. The celidos are...

    Loaded up on wild pikes

Brought back a mess of pikes from Uruguay in January. Got Crenicichla lepidota, Crenicichla missioneira, and Crenicichla celidochilus. Got them all eating cut up shad at this point, hopefully I can get them to start eating pellets soon.
