Try soaking the pellets in water beforehand to soften them. I also soak mine in garlic extract and vita-chem.

I just checked and I’ve had them for a full 2 months now.

I’ll get some pix when I get home. All 8 are still going strong. Feeding them a steady diet of tropheus veggie flakes, brine shrimp, blood worms, and peas. Haven’t noticed any pairing off but they’re still small maybe a couple inches on the biggest one.

Hmmm weird. I feed mine frozen mysis, frozen brine, frozen bloodworms, peas, Nls, kens veggie flake, and northfin. Knock on wood it’s been very healthy since I got it. Probably the least picky eater I’ve had ever!
