Purple spotted Gudgeons are awesome, very active and don't get too big.

Purple Spotted Gudgeons are a really cool fish. Very colorful and social, they're also pigs. They like to hang out in front of the tank all the time. I got 1 with my Ctens and he leaves them all alone. He's about 4" not sure how much bigger he's going to get, I can't imagine he'll get much bigger.

Yeah my gudgeon is very active and one of the biggest pigs I've kept. He's also one of the fastest growing fish I have. He's grown about 1 1/2-2" in 2 months.

I have a 75 gal. I know it's pushing it with those fish, but for now they get 40-50% water changes weekly and they have enough hiding spots for everyone. After time I noticed they work everything out the big cten still is pushy but mainly hides alot. I'd like to get a 125 for a permanent home...

Ctenopomas are slow growers but my bichir doesn't even look at my smallest Cten which is around 2" and my bichir is around 7-8".

thats crazy to hear I have 9 ctenopomas and none of them fin nip I've had them with long finned black skirt tetras and long finned rosy barbs and no problems. Probably depends on the layout of the tank(enough hiding spots and tank size) and the individual fish.
