Looking to get back into the hobby and was wondering if I could get help with lfs that have asian arowanas in the greater Toronto area. I know Dragon in Mississauga and Lucky's in Markham along with some lfs on Steeles. Just wondering if there are any other lfs out in the gta I should look at.

Does anyone know the growth rate of a tiger Oscar. There both around the 3.5"mark. Its been years since I've had an Oscar and have no clue as to how fast they will grow. Right now their diet consists of market shrimp, pellets, blood worms and krill. They're in a 90g(48"x18"x24") and I do a 35%...

Just got rid of the catfish. A beautiful little guy, and picked up acouple of blue snails and a couple of small (1") crayfish. Hopefully that will settle things down.

It's a small tiger right now. Approx 3.5". I'm going to get rid of it as soon as I get in. Hopefully I'll get a credit at my lfs. I'll try some snails.

The piranhas are about 3" or so. As for research. I knew the Tetras would sooner or later become food for the piranhas, but would look good in the tank in the meantime. I thought the catfish would help clean up any scraps left over from any feedings. Is there a "safer" fish to use for scrap...

I have 4 RBP in my tank (48"x24"x18") now, but before I got them I had 1, 3.5" Shovelnose Catfish and 10 Seprates Tetras approx 1' in there. The Tetra population would go down every night by 1. This happened for about a week or so untill I had 6 Teras left and before the pirahnas laid claim to...

Thanks for the help. A quick question. How thin/thick should I cut the filets of catfish?

My 4 red's won't eat anything other than krill. I've tried catfish, pellets and shrimp but no luck. There all around 2.5"-3". Is there anything anyone can suggest? I don't wont to starve them.
