so i've got a fresh new 29g tank....im thinking a few val's, anubius of course, and a few nice small plants. some small fish, cories, tetras. but should i do rams or angels? big question. i'de love angel pair. but rams just as well. advice/opinoins welcome.

Ok, first of all I've been a member for a while now and this site has made me a much better fishkeeper. My tank has grown alot over the past few years, but I've kept mostly cichlids so I haven't been much on the plants. Lately I feel like something natural is missing from the tank. I am running...

I have a black background on mine....had a 8" JD, now a Salvini. I think it really brings there colors out, but I have a mix of black and white sand too, so that also affects their color contrast

Gorgeous coloration on that male!

The wood came from the potomac river, after all the snow we recieved last year the river was up like 23 ft. i found that piece about 10 ft. up in a tree, lol. There is no longer an oscar in this tank. stock list is.. 6-7" salvini 5" green terror 8-9" senegal bichir 10" common pleco 5" hoplo catfish
