you can seperate the free swimmer fry, you can feed them with micro worms, fresh brine shrimp or least use hard boiled egg yolk placed in a stocking and have it settled at the bottom. caution: keep a good water parameter, frequent water change and good aeration.;) goodluck bro!

try micro worms, they are best for new free swimmers:)

normally high temp of 82-85 makes fh metabolism faster... appetite, growth, coloration plus it hasten growth of bad bacterias in the tank. :) sharing my experience...

that ocular spot is comon among fh. fh would definitely lay her eggs but won't hatch without a male. have not tried breeding peacock bass with fh, iam not to familiar. are bass live bearers or egg layers? ;)

it looks like a hard kok, to think of its current size. normally kok develope at around 5-6 inches, however on some instance there are late bloomers. goodluck bro!
