    u need something fast. i had succes with giant danios while cichlids were at mid sizes. Australian rainbows seem to work pretty well as well but they are relatively cheap in australia not sure what they are like over seas.

    yeah this is true but as a marketing gimmick also they are claimed to be line bred for there larger than normal pearls. there was a random male carp and 2 pairs of the super greens one around 4-5 inch the other 2inc (these were offspring of the larger ones) Also i live about 15min from petcity

    Try some Vaseline or petroleum jelly on the o rings/seals, all off them. Don't shake it but yeah tilting it back and forth can remove pockets of air caught in the system. No need to be violent with it though.
