Convince them that your going to move out and that you need the tank to hold fish while you move. Problem is your going to have to move.......eventually.:eek:

I can understand her position, 110g tank is a lot of work for someone who doesn't keep fish. That was still a pretty extreme thing for her to do.:irked: At least you got another large tank out of the deal.:headbang2

My girl said if I kept them clean and beautiful she'd let me have tanks in the livingroom. I just wished we had room for something bigger then these.

Aside from taking MFK to the next level, having someone in the tank with the fish really show's how BIG these guy's get. That's the part that I like, too many people buy these fish with no clue as to how big they get or how large of an aquarium they will need. Now they will know because of you...

Absolutely YES!! My girlfriend just told me to setup 2-20 gallons up in the computer room.:headbang2 She made the room for them, so can your husband (the computer room is her room no less). Have you tried getting him into the hobby?:D

My girlfriend won't stop me, if we can afford it I can have it. The only problem is space (which is a big issue right now). I had to pass on a 500g tank, stand and sump combo for only $1000 CDN. Hardly used no less.

Believe it or not I had to pass up on an 80g with EVERYTHING, $300! Andrea was al for it, until I decided that 13 aquariums on a rental property is enough. Gotta get a house, then I won't have to pass up such good offers.

Cubans are pretty cool fish, nice aquarium. pics are a little dark though.

It WILL eat your Lima in a few short years, if the Lima doesn't eat it first. I've seen tigers down pictus 1" shorter then them. On that note I've seen Sorubim Limas eat pictus also.
