Based off of what you're interested in, I'd say the Savu python would be your best bet since it seems more docile than the viper boa and overall more interesting than the madagascar blonde.
Kinda stinks that it seems to be so hard to find stores that sell natives like rock bass, unfortunate that they aren't native to Texas. Nice looking fish that i'd consider docile.
Yes, he did stop eating, but I never noticed a lump or him actually in the act of eating gravel. I feed him hikari floating cichlid pellets, with the occasional shrimp.
It just shocks me that my polypterus got sick instead of my blood parrots and sunfish! I imagined that primitive fish were much more resilient than modern fish. :(
Since this has recently taken my palmas from me(i'm guessing), I was wondering how common this illness is? And does it affect some species more than others?
