trpoheus dubois are not south american cichlids they are endemic to lake tanganyika found in 3 diffrent areas of the lake!and are very easily get bloat be careful giveing out incorrect info !

tanganikian fish . shell dwellers, brichardi ,lelupi ,marlei ,bourglei ,buffalo heads ,calvus ,cyprichromis! there is all kinds you can put together and get along .just research .i have all the ones listed together and they get along outstanding!!!:headbang2

i have 4 males and 12 females in my 180 and they get along great. and calvus can go with frontosaas long as the fronts cant swallow them lol

canister filters take alot of the oxygen out of the waterthats why they say not to use them for discus for this reason!i dont know how much oxygen salt tanks need . i do cichlids only just my 2 cents
