Given he is only 5 incher - you might want to hold off tanning till he is 10-12 incher... the reason is their natural mature colors don't come out until 1-2 years old anyway. Once you hit at least 1 year - tan-away!

Short answer is yes, you can tan it - It will enhance the natural color of any Arowana.

Give it time - one thing I have learned over the years is to not over do the analysis of behavior (easier said than done!) if you are sure the water, feed, and fish are healthy. Prolly needs to get used to enviro as many have said.

saw this while on vacation in Hong Kong - it was a small case, maybe 10 inch x 6 inch but I was told the fishies were 14k gold. :grinno:
