They rush to the top cause they associate you with food. In my opinion you can pet them as long as you dont do it a lot or too much. Petting them too much will affect there slime coat and probably stress them out. So if you do do it keep it to a minimum and make sure your hands are clean.

Well when i got my pike he was only eating live foods and i never really like using feeders so thats why im switching. I was going to get some silver sides when i get the chance so ill have to see how he likes that.

Also the marks on his side appeared after he had the problem swimming so i dont think he hit anything. It really seems like from his back to his tail is paralyzed.

I dont like using any live fish or frogs as bait. Kinda feels like you already caught somthin if you did. But i dont really see how it would be unfair to people who cant, lures usually do the same thing but you can reuse them and those are legal arnt they?.

Mine ate pellets, cut shrimp, cut tilapia and live mollies. so most likely yes they will.

Mine got together fine. The sens are more active but the dels are more attractive.

I try to do a 50% wc a week while siphoning the crap off the sand. If the tank gets dirty between each change ill do a 10% wc to clean it up. But usually 50% on each of my tanks a week.

Yeah i wouldn't want one even if it was real....you'd end up having the old guy from whale wars and all his friends in your backyard looking for your mini whale.

I like sand cause theres more sand types i like then gravel but i have some tiny natural looking gravel in my 40 that i really like.
