The babies that survived the dads wrath are growing. Big size difference already between some. :O having trouble getting them to eat any time I approach the tub they scatter and food just goes ignored or dispersed.

Went to clean my grow out pond outside and found this. Sans a flowerhorn I had placed in there a couple months ago (casualty of the red tigers) found this. They are tiny is it possible they bred!?

Looked up some of the 3m pool composite material and sand blasting media as well but couldn't find good prices or any price for some of it. Petsmart was having free ship and $15 off $70 so just decided to order the nat geo fine gravel. Pretty pleased with the aesthetic. Still needs to clear out...

Do you know where to get really light colored pea gravel online? All the local places just have this dark chocolate colored. Bleh

To pool sand... I want something of similar color but not so small as to be sucked into filter and eat the impeller. All the gravel I've found locally is goofy colored or very dark. How many lbs for a 72*24*24?

Thanks for the detailed reply. I've been doing some remodel stuff around the house and have been over thinking things in relation to paint,stains and sealers interaction after the floor fiasco. Decided to do a satin. Hopefully one this works out.

What would you guys use to give a facelift to a wood stand that is stained (doesn't really appear to have clearcoat/poly on it) to turn it shiney black? Do I need to strip/sand? Thanks!
