I'm sorry for your loss man. I feel like this was unusual. Like he was stressed when bagged or possibly of poor health. Or maybe just bad luck.
He's small for a necropsy, but if you do the sticky can help guide you.
Hope to see you with another someday soon
I would suggest doing larger volume water changes. 33% in a 220 gallon with 4 rays is going to build up waste and cause problems in short time.
Also your nitrates can't really only be zero? Are you certain? Not an old test kit? what are your nitrites? Perhaps they are zero?
Study the materials and their properties. Acrylic, glass, plywood, concrete, etc. Combinations of them, how they bond, adhere and assemble. Then go from there. :)
Hello @RfishAmazon ! Thank you for the message. The group is still young. If I am able to breed them, I will likely sell some offspring because I am running out of space. Are you in USA?
It will be some time as they aren't fully mature adults yet... But @JK47 is first in line ;)
Late to the conversation, I agree with the above. I would treat with praziquantel and keep the water quality high. You've already separated which I would also recommend. Keep him eating is the #1 thing. Is he still feeding?
Hahahaah! @cigars I think I'll smoke a celebratory cigar. Definitely a dream come true. Designing a new build for them that I hope to tackle in the next few months once things slow down.
Thank you Justincredible! The fish are our passion!
Thanks my man, I've been pleased with her development. Hopefully she can keep it up!
Sprinkle some luck on top of some hard work, good things happen! Thank you Jim
