    First Snake

I have to advise against all of that... I rarely post on this forum any more because there is just to much bad information going around in the reptile section and no doubt I'll end up in an argument here as well because of it. but every now and again I just have to get involved... While this...

    I need a new Monitor

Sounds like you probably don't need another monitor... if you're not happy with the monitor you have because it's not a bearded dragon then maybe you should just get a bearded dragon. If he's escaped twice then you are messing up somewhere and that needs to be corrected before getting anything...

    Rattlers new set up

He is my only full hot, I also have a black mangrove I consider to be semi hot, but that's it for the time being. I am slowly working on getting set up and prepared for coral snakes, before that happens I'll likely end up with a cobra or two. That's where my real passion and most of my prior...

    Rattlers new set up

Moved my timber into the new cage today :D And he now has a name! Sicarius... explorin' his new digs... As part of this whole moving business that I've been doing I am slowly upgrading cages as well... and now have a reptile room at the new house :D So will be a while yet... but I...

    Boa or Python?

Yeah stay away from glass tanks and heat lights... easy way to cause RI's to a new snake... especially if you are going for something just a tad bit more sensitive than your everyday corn snake... Get a proper snake cage, (like the ones pictured above, also available through barrs cages, animal...

    Chameleons with Frogs/Other lizards?

No.... Mixing species is a very difficult and risky thing to do even with hardy species, with something as delicate as a chameleon I would not even consider it.

    Taming a Basilisk

That size enclosure would only be suitable for one... if you are wanting to do more than one (especially if your mixing species, which i would advise against) you would need to at least double that space. For a single water dragon i wouldn't do anything smaller than 6ft tall, 4ft wide, 3ft deep...

What's the most aggressive nonvenomous snake?

Instead of putting the money into a snake that wont actually do anything to help you why don't you try to find a reliable mentor and learn the right way? There is not a single non venomous snake that will help you prepare for any venomous snake. Try as you might, you will never see that...

    New pet Ideas (larger lizards)

Maybe a savannah monitor? Water dragon perhaps? Frilled lizards are about as easy as beardies but a whole different type of fun

Never owned a snake before-ball python?

I'm gonna say get a king >.> Partly cause I love em, a cali king was my first snake... and also partly cause I have some babies for sale lol Ball pythons are the most boring snakes in existence in my opinion... i know a lot of people like them but they are just SO common... and very...

Help,My son's cat keeps peeing in his bed!

Pretty much just what everyone else said... With it not being fixed I actually think that is the most likely reason. Many male cats will mark by peeing (not spraying) if there are no other cats around, they still want to mark their territory. Being that it's already an adult getting it fixed...

Someday, I will have this species...but till then...

very little. My venomous mentor had one, was damn near impossible to keep on the hook. much easier to coax it into a box when we had to move it, which is what I plan for when I have my own. But I still need to get set up correctly...

Someday, I will have this species...but till then...

Yes it's a malaysian blue coral (Maticora... or apparently now it's Calliophis bivirgatus) I definitely want to try my hand at them someday... after i have successfully kept eastern corals though. LOVE coral snakes

    Need some T ideas

If you don't handle em you wont get bit lol I have pokies and other aggressive species and have never been bit. I don't think I am allergic but the bite from a P. striata isn't really something I want to go through anyways lol Tarantulas on the whole aren't really handleable animals anyways...
