Is there any kind of turtle that can be housed in a 55g for life? Just curious, as my mom really wants a turtle and a store in the city has 55g's for cheap. Or, if one can be kept in something smaller for life, thats even better :D Thanks!

You need a heapad that covers 1/3 of the tank, NOT the whole tank. They need a temperature gradient to thermoregulate, so a hot side and a cold side.

Feeding a fish nuts sounds wrong to me, so idk. Keep that water clean though to help keep things stable.

Corn snakes are nice and simple to care for, and don't get huge. They stay small, and just look nicer than the pythons and boas and whatnot IMO. They're nice little critters, so if you want to get a small-ish snake, get a Corn Snake :) Humidity isnt a big deal with them either.

Dont add any more, you would be overstocking. Are you planning on getting a larger tank?
