I did see that link previous. Thanks for the suggestion. Based on the lateral spikes you are referring to, I am assuming they are both Cochliodons? Is that the clearest distinction between them?

I see. They both have little spikes coming out of the ends of each plate/scale. Are those the spikes you are referring to or something more significant?

It does work with getting rid of algae/bacteria as well as increasing O2. However, it all depends on the dosage. I wouldn't pour a bottle in there unless u know what u were doing.
