125 gallon question
I agree. I too have very limited experience with Freds, but from what I know about other species with that size and temperament, they're probably going to take over most, if not all, of that tank when spawning.

What's the first cichlid you ever owned ?
Mine was a Petsmart GT. Ended up jumping to his death at around 4", but he certainly got the wheels moving for me in the hobby.
