FX5 hands down. I personally love EHeim products and everyone i know who has a FX5 is extremely happy. And yes a US conversion adapter will work fine, just google it and u should be able to find one pretty cheap.

Well 2 of my really good friends both swear by their FX5's. Both have 125Gal tanks and have had zero problems with there canister's. That would be my recommendation :)

^^^ Yep exactly what nikond stated. Just make sure u wash the sand really well before adding it. And also make sure to wait for it to completely settle before turning the FX5 back on.

I think ur plan is a good plan IMO. It doesnt really matter if u add the NutraCycle to the tank or the sump. U could try one or the other and see which gives u better results. Just make sure to be testing ur water at least one a week if not twice being that ur in the cycling stage. I...

Thats the first time ive heard Jagers as being trash. Maybe in larger tanks they might not hold up but for anything upto 125-150Gal ive always heard great things about Jagers. What is exaclty happening to the heaters, just stop working???

Yea i would def check it out in person before u purchase anything. Like what was mentioned above, if the crack/split is on the inside then the tank is toast. If its on the outside then u would have to replace the outside part of the glass. Personally i wouldnt use any tank with a crack/chip...

Yea i cant comment on every Penguin Unit thats out there but i have had great success with my 200's. Granted could there be plenty of duds that fail, sure, but that can happen with any brand of filter.

Im actually kinda curious about the Tetra Instant Ocean Nitrate Reducer, does it actually work pretty well??? Im not a big fan of adding chemicals to my tank but if my Nitrates dont go down im considering all of my options. Has anyone tried the Reducer and had any luck with it???

I would suggest looking at AquaBid & LiveFishDirect. Ull more than likely be able to find them on either site. But like kiss mentioned, it might be easier to just make a day trip to a diff town to pick one up.
