Help Snakehead ID confirmation Please :D

Take a look at the last pic that shows a few snakeheads. In that pic, you see 2 snakeheads that are looking "directly" at the camera (one of them is the one at the rightmost spot in the photo). Micropeltes, hoping for food

Not all my videos are accessible to the public. Some are better not shown, for example, three snakeheads doing a tug-of-war thing on a single prey, and ... (you imagine what happens next...).

    Micropeltes, hoping for food

The thing I like about them is speed. I don't think of getting more fishes at the moment... unless I see something

    Micropeltes, hoping for food

I am sure that crazyfreak204 couldn't have missed any serious injuries if there were any on the snakeheads. Perhaps an autopsy could have shed more light on the cause of demise of the snakeheads...

    Micropeltes, hoping for food

crazyfreak204 had 3 in a tank and no issues. I had kept them as petfishes, too (that was when I was a teenager --- Decades ago.) --- 4 in a tank and never had a single fight.

    Micropeltes, hoping for food

Channa micropeltes of same size, in most cases, do not fight amongst themselves, unlike Channa striata which may have "trivial" fights from time to time.

Eating Well but Things aren't Fine !!

It doesn't matter big or small tank as they are feeder fishes and they are ALL going to die very soon, as feeder fishes.

Eating Well but Things aren't Fine !!

Just because fishes are eating well doesn't mean that everything is going fine. As fishkeepers or fish hobbyists, should always observe our fishes... EXAMPLE: The following video shows a couple of feeder snakeheads with fish lice (when I got them from LFS) eating very well. Easier to see...
