I had a Royal pleco and L114 fight like that ,both were 9"+... L114 killed the Royal overnite and 114 died two days later from injuries. I tried re landscaping tank to give them new areas , but you cant watch them 24/7. mistake I made was not separiting them. OP I'd separate yours IMO

I rescused a Tem that was blind in one eye . He adapted quite well always keep his good eye to the front of the tank . ( I blacked out the back and sides of tank seemed to reduce the shadows that spooked him ) GL

There is no L # from your pleco .. At first I thought it was a gibby until I counted dorsal rays ,,, my guess is Hypostomus jaguar or some version of Hypostomus ? Great looking pleco btw
