    What’s the best looking Guianacara?

I’m toying with the idea of setting up a small 3’ tank, it’ll be the first in many years. I’d kept Geophagus previously and fancied a few of these again but due to tank size decided on Guianacara as they stay fairly small. I don’t know that much about them and would prefer something that’s more...

    Anyone in the UK

I’m from the UK, live in Sunderland up north. A long time ago I used to organise MFK meet up trips to decent shops around the country but I’ve not had fish for a while now.

    Seven year old Red Arowana

Nice one, they’ll be a decent size now. I’ve toyed with the idea but can’t fit a tank in the living room now and the tank I had built under the stairs is now a large cupboard. It would be a small set up if it ever happened.

    Can pygos be mixed?

The natts lived together for a few years then added the caribe and piraya for the last 18 months. I sold them all on to help fund to my 200g oddball setup. I think in the whole time I had then I only had a natt with slight eye damage. The natts were fairly mellow as were the caribe but the...

    Seven year old Red Arowana

I’m great thanks, I’m totally tankless these days and have been for quite a few years. I was too busy travelling around every weekend so not really good for looking after large fish. Looks like you’re still fully committed, do you still have the rays?

    Can pygos be mixed?

It can be done, I grew out some Natts from babies and added similar size Caribe and a Piraya later at around 5’’. They lived together for a good 18 months. I just kept them well fed usually dimly lit and a good environment. This is a snapshot of 5 of the 8 I ended up with, that’s a very old picture.
