Figured I'd share a video of Igor my Oscar. Really nice colouration on this guy.

I want to see for myself. I gave up my dovii because at the time I couldnt accommodate him...these on the other hand might be much easier to house. My males are around 7-8 inches right now.

I've never had frempongi but I've had fasciatus....they are dovii level aggressive and oz for oz probably the nastiest cichlid out there. I'm in Canada also, where did you find these? I think the Frempongi might be more attractive but I've only seem pictures. Go to youtube...theres a guy on...

One of my favorite recent pickups. Superb colouration and well behaved. Protomelas spilonotus "Mara Rocks".

Yup it took me two years to grow her out to maturity (I basically bought free swimming fry lol). Long wait but I'm very happy with her.

Yeah...not much to go on with these ones

I've had this guy for a few years and he seems to have maxed out around 5 inches. Lots of literature says that they get much larger then 12 inches. I think their are two very closely related species available that might get mixed up when sold because I've seen some with juvenile colouring...

Jealous...I want to get into these guys eventually...amazing :)
