    I have 2 x 200 ltr water buts in the garage which I treat with prime, heat up to temperature and then pump into my tank It's a lot easier than buckets lol

    I tried this and found that the filters didn't perform as well as they should? They both have there own intake & return pipes now and they are performing much better

    I run a uv on my stingray tank as it's in a room with loads of windows do it gets lots of sun light. I have it on the return pipe on my fx5 filter and it keeps my tank free on algae blooms etc

    My fx6 doesn't drain...

    As above if you pull one of the connections of the top of the filter it will drain. Mine do the same it's just a vacuum
