I recently got 2 Rotkeil's. How well do 2 of them normally go together? I have had severum's before with no issues. But with these 2, one seems to be getting beat up a bit. Should I separate and just keep 1? Or is there a different solution?

I would agree sight plays a role. I bought some large clown loaches last year. The guy double bagged them, putting newspaper between the two bags. They travel better and are less stressed if they can't see outside the bag, was the reasoning he provided.

How many do you have? I have heard they are more of a schooling fish. Which mine schooled together once i had 5+ of them. Time to re-arrange the tank?

How about a Pimolodus Ornatus? Or a Mystus Leucophasis?

They can be very fast, so not sure if thats why they need the space. The ones I had, easily exceeded 15cm. You usually buy them in the 10-15cm range here.

Basing on advice I have received. Im not clear on the history on them being imported. Based on the advice Im given, I would then assume the collection site for the ones that were imported would match it to being Pectinifrons.
