Ok.. That's what I thought. I would love to take the tetras out but the BOSS (wife) likes them lol... I have 14 fish in there now. I don't want to put to many rocks cause I don't want the bottom falling out on me. Putting more plants sounds like a good Idea... Thanks.

Thanks for all the replys!!! I do turn off my filter and take it out when I do water changes. Every other week I move the sand around and gets real cloudy, I'll try to wait till the sand settles first before I put the filter back in. I'm going to get a filter sponge and raise my intake strainer...

Hi, I bought a new filter about 3 months ago, It started making a sqeeking sound about two weeks ago. Every time I do a water change I see a little bit of sand in the fiter, I tried cleaning it out real good but can't get it to stop making the squeeking noise. I think theirs sand inside it...
