Finally had enough growth out of the few plants I bought, that i was able to remove all of the fake plants from the tank. Just left the two stumps on either side of the tank but everything else is real. Let me know what you think, I started with 3 of each, Java fern, Java fern trident, and...

Yeah I haven't spent quite that much on the bichirs themselves but including the bichirs and the 125g I set up for them last spring I'm pushing close to 3500 on one tank lol. Sent from my iPhone using MonsterAquariaNetwork app

It's definitely a hard addiction to fight, been in the Bichir game for probably be about 2-1/2 years. First I got 3 Senegals ,About a year laterI started getting my hands on some more, In the past year I've gone from like 5 poly's to 15 poly's 7 rope fish... Don't plan on stopping anytime...

Thanks man, it was pretty sketchy. The one I got was the only one in the tank at my LFS that was showing the green colors and had the sharp stripes. He's on black sand in my 10g grow out so I'm hoping its colors only get stronger over time Sent from my iPhone using MonsterAquariaNetwork app

Just picked him up about 2 or 3 inches. His patterns are what caught my attention, they had him on a white and blue gravel so I'm hoping on the black sand they get even sharper. I'll post pics once I get him home Sent from my iPhone using MonsterAquariaNetwork app
