    Any Tips?

I would just buy one that's custom made to that size, but the problem is it wouldn't fit through my door. I pretty much have to have it put together inside the house. If there's anyone who lives near me and knows what they're doing, I'd be willing to pay for some extra help on this project.

    Any Tips?

I'm planning on building a tank 144" x 48" x 36" sometime in the next few months. I've never built a tank before, so if anyone has any advice I'd appreciate it.

    knight anole

I knew what she meant. I was being a smartass. I don't have the chance to get online until at least midnight, and I'm usually on the computer until at least 4 or 5 am. When I'm tired my sense of humor is all out of whack and it turns me into a smartass retard most of the time.

    Beginning Predatory Tank

The only aggressive fish I can think of off the top of my head that would be able to live thier whole life in a 55g would be african butterfly fish. They stay small, but they are aggressive. I have three of them in my "oddball" tank, and they'll swim over and bite my hand whenever I do water...

    how long?

It would be my honeycomb moray (Gymnothorax favagineus), although I don't have him anymore. It was just a little over five feet when I got rid of it. I traded it to a friend of mine for a car. :headbang2

    manta ray

Same here, I've never heard of them being kept either. At any rate, no the manta ray wouldn't be compatible with whatever other rays are being kept in the tank with it. Also, all studies done on these rays show the don't reach sexual maturity until they reach a size of about 15+ feet across...

    Who owns snakes?

I've never heard of an axanthic "king" ball, but axanthics have the same pattern as normal balls, they're just darker and thier pattern is grey and silver instead of brown and gold.

My Knife Fish Are Building A Nest!

I highly doubt that they're breeding. These fish very rarely breed in captivity because they need to be full grown before they spawn. As far as I know, the only reports of these being bred in captivity has been where they were housed in indoor ponds in groups of at least 6. I'm not saying its...

    Lake Tanganyikan Turtles

I think they either didn't know what they were talking about, or were knowingly giving you wrong information trying to make a sale. If you can get some pics, please do, so we can find out what species of turtle this is.

    metal halides or compact florecents

In my opinion, metal halides would be overkill on a 10g tank. Just get the compact flourescent lights and use the few houndred dollars you'd be saving not going with the mh lights and use it towards live rock, corals, ect. I've been running a 29g reef for a little over a year just running...
