aussie native 75g archerfish rainbows

Hey guys just wondering if anyone here has done any aussie native setups? Im thinking of changing my 75g SA cichlid community into a native setup consisting of a couple archer fish & some rainbows. Any advice/ things I should know like which substrate/ native plants to use would be appreciated.
