cichla peacock bass

I just bought 8 peacock bass babies they are just 2.5 inch in size. The variety in occelaris as the seller said. Currently i put them to my 60 gallons tank and feed them with market shrimps. I just aquired a pair of peacock bass they are about 1.5 inch I have tried some pellets but they turned there noses and wouldn't eat so I got blood worms but they seem to just mouth them and then spit it out any ideas on how to get these guys eating
