convict cichlids

A while ago I bought what was listed as a cryptoheros cutteri/blue eyed cichlid. However I'm unsure if that's what I have, comparing mine to images and videos online. Indeed, I feel he may have more of the convict about him. Could someone assist? He's a complete bastard whatever he is. Thank you.

Bought three convicts today and realised they weren’t all male, one is female. I haven’t really seen any fighting yet but should I purchase more females to prevent them from harassing the individual female and the males fighting each other?
