#mayan cichlid

Hi everyone i have resently aquired a large mayan cichlid and he looks a little thin any suggestions on care for him would really help im feeding him sinking cichlid pelets at the moment but hes not eating much do they eat a lot???? at the moment hes in a 100 gal with some rocks and sticks again...
