semi-aggressive

So, I have a large semi-aggressive tank, but I wasn't sure if denison barbs were okay for semi-aggressive? Another question is if my rainbow shark would see them as a threat or not? I have a peaceful community tank but it doesn't have a current, nor do I think it's big enough (just a 20 gallon...
